Urban Playground specialists, Jump Inc, are the latest occupier to commit to Seaway Southend, taking the prime leisure project to over 70% of space pre-let.
The 25,700 sq ft unit will play host to trampolines, inflatables and a ninja assault course, as well as a food and drink offer. Jump Inc provide affordable fun for the whole family and all ages, all year round, whatever the weather. The activities on offer can be just for fun with friends, about learning new skills and inadvertently boost fitness.
Director of Jump Inc, Michael Brocklebank said “We can’t wait to bring a Jump Inc to Southend-On-Sea. Trampolines, Inflatables, Football and our Neon playground will all be part of the scheme, with a great street food offering. Established in 2015 we offer a great family experience come rain or shine, 7 days a week! Our sites are very much family focused and we feel Southend is an ideal location for us”.
The arrival of Jump Inc will create up to 50 jobs, which will contribute over £15m every year to Southend’s town centre economy. Jump Inc will be investing £1.2m in the Southend location that will create a first class family entertainment centre that people want to visit again and again.
Tim Deacon, Director of Turnstone Estates, further explains, “We are delighted to be able to announce Jump Inc as a future occupier for Seaway. They will complement our line up extremely well. We are really pleased with the progress of lettings following the Cabinet decision last year. This latest commitment will take the project over 70% pre-let. We have also received an excellent response from the contractor market for this major project. It’s clear people want to do business in Southend and we are committed to making that happen. Each week we are making solid steps to delivery, and the Colchester Northern Gateway is well underway as our blueprint for Southend”.
Jump Inc join Empire Cinemas, Hollywood Bowl, Travelodge and a trio of restaurants – Burger Amour, DOUGH&Co and Kervan Kitchen – to create a rather exciting line up and welcome new additions to Southend.
The new leisure experiences from Jump Inc are set to bounce into Southend by 2024.
